The story
It started with a poem
in kindergarten
Karol’s mother read him bedtime stories and gave every character its own voice. At five he already knew he wanted to do that too. In primary school he recited poems with full theatrical commitment, and after that came drama clubs, instruments and any stage he could find.
In secondary school he was in the science stream but spent all his time with the arts students. The tension was always the same: he needed to create, and he needed people. For years he couldn't find a single thing that gave him both.
In 2010 he hosted his first wedding, and somewhere during that reception it clicked. A wodzirej performs, works with people, and never gets the same evening twice.
In 2014 it became his full-time job, and it still is.
"I always needed to create, and I always needed people around me. It took me years to find something that required both at once."
Before weddings, Karol spent three years playing in a band. That’s where he learned to read a big crowd and keep its attention when the energy drops.
He also holds a professional certification as a wedding MC.
His other job is coordinating IT projects, which, as he’ll tell you, is also about getting people to work together towards something they care about.

Three years on stage with a band
Playing live to big audiences taught Karol what no rehearsal room can: when a crowd is with you, when it’s drifting, and how to win it back.

Every age, every occasion
Children’s birthday parties, school events, adult celebrations, seniors’ gatherings. Sixteen years of very different rooms.

Certified
Karol holds a professional certification as a wedding MC. Couples trust him with their wedding, so he trained for the job properly.
The person
Outside the
reception hall
Karol has a wife he loves and five children, so he knows what it feels like to be at the centre of a family celebration that matters to everyone in the room.
He builds things: electronics, music, whatever needs making. It’s the same instinct as in his work: take separate parts and make them work as one.
An international wedding asks the same of whoever holds the microphone. Two families, two languages, two sets of expectations, and one evening that has to belong to all of them.
